Jaguar XF Wins 12th International Award

Jaguar XF
The Jaguar XF has been presented with the twelfth in a glittering array of international motoring awards since its launch, this time winning the Fleet World 'Design of the Year Editor's Award'

Chairman of Judges George Emmerson said "The Jaguar C-XF won the Editor's Award in last year's Fleet World Honours largely on the strength of its appearance – a quite stunning car to look at. With XF, when you get inside the cabin and feel the quality, then drive it on the open road you realise that the company has delivered on its promise. It is an exceptional car that turns heads like no other in its class."

This, the latest in a long line of trophies for the XF, which is capped by the prestigious ‘Car of the Year’ award from What Car? magazine, and also features similar awards from What Diesel? Magazine, and The Sun newspapers motoring section. Autocar Magazine called it their ‘Design of the Year’, and Top Gear named it their ‘Limo of the Year’

Upon receiving the award, Jaguar's Design Director, Ian Callum said: "It's highly gratifying to receive recognition for the new phase in Jaguar design and this is further clarification that this new direction is absolutely right for the brand."

Jaguar has taken more than 5,000 orders for the new XF in the UK, stunning numbers as the car has only been officially available since late February. What is it like to try and get hold of a new XF from dealers at the moment? We’ll be dealing with that issue in a blog very soon…
