If anything could be called a “hypercar”, then this car fits the bill perfectly. From the same engineering gurus that gave the world the Maclaren F1, comes the Caparo T1. From the outside, it looks like a Formula 1 racer, with four semi-open wheels, a narrow cockpit which fits two in asymmetric fashion, and an elaborate bodywork. The inside isn’t that much different from an F1 since the car has no entertainment whatsoever. Driving it is entertainment enough, with the best power-to-weight ratio of over 1,045 BHP per tonne, much more than the Bugatti Veyron. The all-aluminum, normally-aspirated V8 takes care of the propulsion while the carbon-ceramic brakes stops the driver and his passenger from going into orbit. Fittingly, the car debuted recently at UK’s Salon Prive, proving grounds for the world’s supercars.
