When a design lasts for 30 years without any significant change, then the car must be working and must be working well. This is the case for the Mercedes Benz Gelandewagen or the G-Class for short. The tried and tested workhorse has survived several automotive fads yet still remained close to its design roots. The EDITION30 and EDITION30.PUR are the latest additions to the illustrious history of the G-Class. The EDITION30.PUR is the more “off-road” version and features a headlamp guard, all-terrain wheels, and a hood that’s able to bear heavy weights to give access to the optional roof rack. The other is the more luxurious with custom paint work, light alloy wheels, and a longer wheel base for greater comfort. Looks like 30 more fun-filled years for Mercedes Benz and the proud G-Class owners! $90,000+.
